Today our Consul General participated within the 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗶 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗖) organized by the Kansai Science and Technology Diplomatic Circle (S&TDC) with the lead effort of the US Consulate General in Osaka.
Aproximately 16 members of the S&T Diplomatic Circle Kansai had the privilege of visiting the Shionogi Pharmaceutical Research Center (SPRC), which is one of the most advanced research center in Pharma.
Shionogi & Co., Ltd, founded 145 years ago in 1878 in Osaka, has been developing COVID-19 vaccines and drugs and became the first Japanese business to get approval COVID-19 drug in Japan. The Consul Generals were warmly greeted by CEO Dr. Isao Teshirogi, Vice President Dr. John Keller and Senior Vice President Yasuyoshi Iso. 
Hoy nuestro Consul General participo en la visita que hizo en Circulo Diplomático Cientifico y Tecnológico de Kansai (S&TDC en inglés) con el esfuerzo liderizado por el Consulado General de los Estados Unidos en Osaka.
Aproximadamente 16 miembros de este círculo diplomático tuvieron el privilegio de visitar el centro farmacéutico de investigación y desarrollo de Shionogi, el cual es uno de los mas avanzados en el mundo.
La compania Shionogi & Co., Ltd., fue fundada en Osaka hace 145 años (1878) y ha estado desarrollando vacunas contra el Covid-19 asi comi medicamentos, siendo la primera compañia japonesa de obtener la aprobacion para un medicamento contra el covid-19 en Japón. Los Consules Generales fueron recibidos por el CEO Dr. Isao Teshirogi, asi como por el Dr. John Keller Vicepresidente de la compañia y el Senior Vice Presidente, Sr. Yasuyoshi Iso.
