This section applies to any retired person with a current pensioner payment from the Panamanian Social Security Institution (Caja de Seguro Social). The person must reside within the Consular Circuit of the Panamanian Consulate General in Kobe.

• The Document of “Proof of Life” should be completed in Spanish and this process must be done within the first 6 months of every year (From January to June). In accordance with CIRCULAR DGPE-DC-No. 1647, if the applicant has not sent the “proof of life” by the month of July, the check will be hold by the Panamanian Social Security Institution.

After being certified by the Consulate, you can send the document directly to the Social Security Department (Tel: +507-261-4413) by courier to the specific address informed at our Consular office.
