In the city of Imabari, the second seminar titled “Oil Record Book and Ballast Record Book” was held, organized by the SEGUMAR Imabari Office with the support of the Consulate General of Panama in Kobe. This seminar was aimed at technicians, superintendents, shipowners, and operators located in Imabari, Matsuyama, Shikokusho, and Hakatajima.
More than 40 participants responded to the invitation, which promotes the correct filling out of the books and offers an explanation of the new amendments to the Ballast Water Record Book (BWRB) that will come into force on February 1, 2025. The attendees expanded their knowledge, which will contribute in the future to the reduction of detentions, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement in processes.
