The Consul General of the Republic of Panama in Kobe, Mr. Victor J. Almengor C., paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Nara Prefecture, Mr. Arai Shogo in which both parties discussed the possibility of cultural activities in Nara prefecture within the near future.

Mr. Shogo recalled his work experience at the Japanese Maritime Administration in different topics which involved conversations with the Republic of Panama at the International Maritime Organization.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Almengor gave Mr. Shogo a traditional native Panamanian art, named “MOLA” from the Guna culture in Panama which was highly appreciate by Governor Shogo and his staff.
