Kansai, Japan — February 26, 2024. The Consulate General participated in a session of the Kansai Consular Forum, a platform that brings together consular representatives from the region to address matters of common interest and relevant local issues.
During the session, up-to-date information was exchanged regarding preparations for and projected outcomes of Expo Osaka Kansai 2025, one of the most significant international events to be held in Japan. Additionally, the group reviewed Japanese government initiatives aimed at sustaining the economic and social momentum generated by the Expo, with a focus on innovation, tourism, and regional development.
The Consulate’s participation helped strengthen diplomatic coordination, facilitate the sharing of perspectives on local challenges, and contribute to the alignment of joint efforts among the diplomatic missions present in Kansai.
