The General Director of Merchant Marine, Eng. Rafael Cigarruista, delivered a special presentation to more than fifty attendees from different shipping companies of Ehime.
The presentation, which was named “TOGETHER WE SAVE OUR OCEAN THROUGH A GREENER INDUSTRY”, was focused on the important probable phases towards the achievement of a cleaner industry and the incentives that the Panamanian Merchant Marine Directorate has issued to help its shipowners to invest in “eco-friendly ships”.
Furthermore, the event served as an important window for the latest technical regulations that are discussed at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) which requires a comprehensive view from the shipowner’s community.
