The Consul General of the Republic of Panama, Mr. Victor Almengor, paid a courtesy call to the Honorable Mrs. Nakajo Eri, Vice Governor of Shiga Prefecture.
During the meeting, Consul General Almengor expressed the interest of Panama on establishing bonds with Shiga Prefecture by virtue of connecting the Shiga University of Medical Science with either the Panamanian Medical academic community or with the National Forensic Institute of Panama.
By his part, Vice Governor Eri expressed the interest of the Shiga Prefecture to connect itself with cities or provinces in Panama for purpose of creating cultural exchange between Shiga and Panama within the near future.
