The Panama Maritime Authority and the Ports Bureau of the Kobe City Government, Japan signed a memorandum of understanding on port issues, such as the development of shipping routes, port planning, port operations, data management and hydrography, construction and maintenance of port facilities, and port security.
On behalf of the Office of Ports of the Government of the city of Kobe, Japan, signed the director Noritaka Hasegawa and on the part of the Maritime Authority of Panama, signed the
Administrator Noriel Araúz.
The signing ceremony was held in a virtual meeting which was hosted by the Consul General of Panama in Kobe Japan, Mr. Victor J. Almengor C. and Eng. Nelson Agrazal as the chief of the Panama Maritime Office at Imabari (Segumar Imabari).
