Mientras que en el \u00faltimo World Fleet Monitor del a\u00f1o realizado por Clarksons Research Platform, la bandera paname\u00f1a est\u00e1 en 16% de los barcos que componen la flota mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, el Registro tuvo un incremento neto de 83 buques que representan 7,2 millones de GT y mantuvo una tasa de retenci\u00f3n de 29%, seg\u00fan reporta la base de datos de la Autoridad Mar\u00edtima de Panam\u00e1. En general, esta Administraci\u00f3n ha mantenido una tasa de retenci\u00f3n promedio de 28 %, lo que representa una mejora con respecto al promedio m\u00f3vil de 10 a\u00f1os de 14 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con respecto a los buques que ingresaron a la flota paname\u00f1a en 2023, 56.7% de los buques tienen menos de 15 a\u00f1os y tuvieron una antig\u00fcedad promedio de 4 a\u00f1os. De ellas, 339 son construcciones nuevas, que suman m\u00e1s de 8,3 millones de TRB, con lo que la Direcci\u00f3n General de Marina Mercante logra cumplir con 93.75% su objetivo de atraer embarcaciones de este segmento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es significativo mencionar que el a\u00f1o pasado el Registro de Buques de Panam\u00e1 por v\u00eda responsable cancel\u00f3 oficiosamente 161 embarcaciones que representan 1,287,604 GT y con una edad promedio de alrededor de 17 a\u00f1os. Dentro de este grupo se encuentran 78 embarcaciones asociadas a la pesca no declarada y no reglamentada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante esta administraci\u00f3n de julio de 2019 a la fecha, el Registro de Buques de Panam\u00e1 ha agregado 33 millones de TRB, seg\u00fan el informe World Fleet Monitor de Clarksons Research.
