We started our official Port Partnership schedule in Osaka by having a starting meeting with Director General Junya Maruyama of the Osaka Ports and Harbours Bureau. At this welcome meeting our General Director of Ports and Ancillary Industries of the Panama Maritime Authory, Mrs. Flor Pitty (Eng.) expressed the deepest words of appreciation from the Panamanian Maritime Administration. Furthermore Director Maruyama communicated his gratitude to the panamanian delegation and subsequently delivered a port update and strategic vision presenation of the Osaka Ports.

Following this visit, we visited Dream Island Container terminal, the Yumeshima land reclamation project and also the Osaka Cruise Terminal.
